A Lecturer from the Rusafa Educational Center Serves as a Discussant Member on a PhD Thesis

In the spirit of academic openness and strengthening cooperation with reputable institutions—and under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Ihsan Hadi Ahmad, Dean of the Open College of Education, with direct follow-up by Assistant Professor Dr. Jalal Jasim Al-Rikabi, Director of the Rusafa Educational Center—Certified Public Accountant Dr. Ban Riyadh Yousef, one of the lecturers at the Rusafa Center, participated as a discussant member on the defense committee of researcher Hossam Laith Ghanem at the Arab Institute of Certified Public Accountants.The committee examined the researcher's thesis entitled:“The Impact of Applying IFRS 9 (Financial Instruments) on the Information Content of Financial Statements and the Financial Performance of Economic Entities – An Applied Study”This was in fulfillment of the requirements for the professional Doctorate in Forensic Accounting.
